Did you know that your website will have to offer more accessibility from summer 2025? We can help you – with our latest business product.
Our website accessibility plugin is based on an open source solution, which we have further modified and improved for our customers.
Our offer!
For a one-off payment, we will set up our software on your website – we can also use other modifications if required.
At the same time, we make the necessary scripts and files available to you via our IT systems – at no additional cost.
Help us to make the Internet more accessible for everyone.
That’s why websites should be accessible:
- Accessibility means a higher conversion rate
- The target group increases and you appeal to more customers
- Google rates accessible websites better and ranks them higher
- Fines for administrative offences can thus be avoided
- The chance of receiving a warning is significantly reduced
- Moral plus: No discrimination against people with disabilities
- Stand out positively from the crowd: 98% of all sites are not accessible
What we do on our websites
Starting on 7 February 2025, we will also be rolling out this function on our websites step by step. We want to make our website accessible to everyone!
About accessibility
Accessible websites are websites that can be used by all users without restrictions (barrier-free), regardless of their limitations or technical capabilities. The accessibility of websites is still not a matter of course: according to a study by Google and “Aktion Mensch” (DE), for example, two thirds of large German online shops are not accessible. Barriers on the internet prevent a website from being accessible to everyone. Only through digital accessibility can all people use a website without restrictions.
An accessible website is worthwhile for all companies, because: According to the Federal Statistical Office, 7.8 million people in Germany live with a recognised severe disability (as of the end of 2021). If you make your website accessible, you will also reach more potential customers. What’s more, accessibility doesn’t just benefit people with disabilities, as accessibility makes websites easier to use and therefore more satisfying for all users.
About the legal regulations
From 28 June 2025, most B2C websites, services and products must be accessible as part of the Accessibility Reinforcement Act, Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG). More on bund.de (DE)
