We would like to inform you that the planned rollout of WordPress 5.5 on our Managed WordPress pages will not be rolled out on August 20th as planned.
The latest WordPress update (5.5), released on August 11th will not be installed on August 20th on our Managed WordPress pages. Background are several reports about non-functional plugins and themes in connection with this update.
But we will roll out and install plugins and theme updates on August 20th.
The next planned installation will therefore take place on 20 September 2020. Until this date, all plugins are expected to be updated by the manufacturer. On September 20, the updates will be installed first for themes and plugins, then for the WordPress systems themselves.
If successful update information is already known in early September, we are planning an unscheduled patch day on September 5, 2020.

With the release of WordPress 5.5.1 on September 1th 2020, we are planning a pre rollout.
Update, 13th September 2020
We have now rolled out the new Version 5.5.1 on our customer websites.
